Rev Jenny Tymms is a writer and Minister of the Uniting Church who accompanies people as they seek to integrate their longing for purpose with the joys and heartaches of their day to day lives and work. A former lawyer and academic lecturer, Jenny’s ministry experience extends over twenty-five years and three Synods, and has included the roles of Adult Christian educator, Synod General Secretary, Presbytery Minister and Director of Mission for a Uniting Church agency. Jenny has a particular interest in integrating  contemplative and active spiritual practices into ordinary, everyday life and it is this interest that will shape her contributions to this retreat.  She is the author of  Deep Work: Spiritual Practice in our Workday World.

Sharonne Price is the author of Soulstice: Journeys and Seasons of the Soul, The Pastoral Partner Programme and All Will Be Well (group study). Sharonne has been a social worker, chaplain and denominational leader. She is deeply committed to how we communicate about the gift of faith with those who are distant from the church. Her topic for the retreat is “Love and fear in the life of the Beloved.” She will draw on the work of Julian of Norwich (The Four Fears), neuropsychology and, of course, the Scriptures. She will focus on the place of wonder in discernment.
